Re: functional change in v8 MRP, asking feedback from expertsby

for what it's worth, here is the due bug report
[8.0] [regression] manufacturing order with BOM having a routing is broken
Thank you for everybody who helped me figure out what was going on.
@Ana, really check the report, you'll agree that it's currently broken I think.
Also, I would personally prefer any solution that doesn't involve running the scheduler or creating a procurement order. I feel this is pointless here and procurement + scheduler (pull rule) tends to add a lot of process complexity (despite eventually the code is simpler) and I have like a trauma that says, the less you need procurements and scheduler, the better because it always tends to end up not running when you need or with dangling procurements that screw your whole MRP.
Again, I'm pretty sure OpenERP SA won't be able to do MRP projects with this bug open so I'm quite confident they will end up fixing it. Now my situation is a bit special here because I will have no time to wait, this is why I needed to figure out exactly what was going on and why I will probably implement at least temporarily what I presented as a solution (similar to 7.0). If by the end of the week I don't have all these processes properly prototyped, we will need to roll back to project on 7.0 I fear. Tough times...
