Thanks Daniel.

What would help is:

1) External references - where can we find mentions of OCA

These should not be your company website as this makes the article read like an advert. Independent publications, news stories and media work well.

2) Many contributors - showing that the topic is of interest

Edits by registered users are most valuable but also anonymous edits and improvements will help.

The objections I have had so far are based on notability and "This submission appears to read more like an advertisement." therefore quality over quantity is by far preferred for this article.

Please refrain from mentioning company names or individuals unless they have sufficient notability (see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(organizations_and_companies)).

Once we have some more submissions, I will work with a Wikipedia editor to get the article published.

Thanks in anticipation of your help.

Stuart.

Hello everyone,

Odoo is a notable topic, that has reached visibility and importance both in the ERP market and in the Open Source world.

The OCA is a non profit organization that plays a key role in the Odoo ecosystem, not only by promoting product adoption, but also by fostering and supporting the open source community around it.

So, I believe that it has enough relevance and notability to be worthy of a Wikipedia article.

I have been talking with Stuart Mackintosh, from OpusVL, who has been working on the draft of this article. You can find it at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Odoo_Community_Association

Right now Wikipedia reviewers feel that the article does not comply with the Wikipedia criteria, has been rejected, and will probably be deleted soon.

We need your help to improve the article to match the Wikipedia standards. If any of you has experience working on the Wikipedia, that would probably be an awesome help.

Thank you.
