RE: Receiving duplicate emails from Communityby
I had exactly the same problem early this year, and it was finally rectified by sending an email to Odoo staff who removed my duplicated address from the mailing list.
For not disclosing individual’s email address, I could only point you to find the relevant email to get whom to write to. Please refer to this mailing list and find the message dated April 26, 2016 11:23 PM:

Hi Odoo Support,
Since some weeks I'm always receiving duplicated emails from the Community mailing list (email@example.com).
I remember that once, I sent an email to the list and I got an alert saying that I wasn't registered. As I know that there might be some issues with the mailing list, normally related to unsubscribing, I registered again my email.
So this might be another issue, that the mailing list is not able to find if an user is already registered, and then people can get registered multiple times.
Do you know who can I poitn this? At least fix my registration to the mailing list for not to receive duplicated emails.
