Odoo 8 thinks company data isn't set up

When I'm on messaging, I see this:

Yet, when I click on the "Set Your Company Data" link, I see this:


Yes, I wiped out the address, taxid, and account information from the screenshot, but it's really there in the database. The other tabs looks filled in completely as well. Anyone have an idea why Odoo has been complaining about this for the past 2 years?
