Struggling with same error.
My use-cases are, I setup incoming mail server and I want to receive mails on that configured mail server. What should I have to do ?
1) When I try to store that incoming mail to mail.message object, I got parent_id error (no parent thread found)
2) Is it possible, Can we store incoming mail to mail.mail object in "Received" state ? (I never see any mail in "Received" state. How can I do if I want to store incoming mail as received mail)
Thanks for your helps in advance.

I wonder how to define that fallback server in such a way, that it does not display the same behaviour as the base mail server thanks for you tips robert
