Re: Odoo to manage a supermarket.by
This is the main pitfall on the POS from what i've read on the mailing list... things got better on V8... no feedback on V9...We are implementing Odoo for a supermarket(a small one 6 POS) but not yet with this volume of products... but this is really a problem of you have several session closing/opening on a POS... other point would be the robustness of the posbox if you go for this solution, lost of internet/network connection...

In fact, I want to know if the POS Odoo can work with thousands of products. I wonder if it will not be too slow when loading data and even during use.
I also want to know if anyone has already installed the POS in a supermarket.2016-07-08 18:02 GMT+02:00 Houssine BAKKALI <firstname.lastname@example.org>:for the "backend" supermarket activities is straight forward... but is quiet difficult to give a usefull feedback without knowing more about your needs and the context...the main critical point is to have your POS integrated with your scale... as far as i've seen there is nothing super fast, super easy, super stable... And I think that in France if you go for a scale integrated to the POS you must get a certification...Hi Clovis,On which point you need the feedback? from a POS point of view or more from a logistic one?2016-07-08 17:12 GMT+02:00 Clovis Nzouendjou <email@example.com>:Hello,
Please, can I have your feedback on the implementation of Odoo for a supermarket with several POS and less than 100 000 product references (or more)? Thanks in advance
