Re: V8 - Assets (default Odoo module) move to Inventoryby

If you want to put a product for sale, a possibility could be:
- to have a warehouse (from where the goods are going out when sold), and a location outside the warehouse. So when you do a sales, odoo will reserve only from within the warehouse, and your assets are safely out
- you probably will have to over ride the "quantity on hand" function to exclude the qty outside the warehouse
- One issue however, is if you are in the renting business, I am not sure this will fit nicely with your rental workflow ...(I assume that you are using the sales module for renting, which is quite different from selling cars)

Juan VidalRegards,How can this be achieved with Odoo? or an additional module is required?Hi Community,Does anybody knows how to move an asset to Inventory? What Im trying to achieve is to keep the record of those assets that from time to time I decide to put to sale.
