How do you run your server?

I.e.
If you run via Apache Proxy start checking the Apache file for your website
It might be in /etc/apache2/sites-available

IF you have set a block in your apache2 website configuration that this path won't be allowed to show up add your iP Address to it - check the section for :80 (http) and for :443 (https)!

<Location "/web/database" >
Order deny,allow
Deny from all
Allow from 1.30.241.1 192.168.122.0/24 127.0.0.0/255.0.0.0 ::1/128
</Location>

Than check in the etc/init.d folder for a file which start the odoo server - it might have the mane oodo-server

Read each line carefully written down there and you might find an entry like the one you are looking for
#!/bin/sh
### BEGIN INIT INFO
# Provides: afb-server
# Required-Start: $remote_fs $syslog
# Required-Stop: $remote_fs $syslog
# Should-Start: $network
# Should-Stop: $network
# Default-Start: 2 3 4 5
# Default-Stop: 0 1 6
# Short-Description: Enterprise Business Applications
# Description: ODOO Business Applications
### END INIT INFO
PATH=/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin
DAEMON=/home/odoo/odoo-server/openerp-server
NAME=odoo-server
DESC=odoo-server
# Specify the user name (Default: ).
USER=odoo
# Specify an alternate config file (Default: /etc/openerp-server.conf).
CONFIGFILE="/etc/odoo/odoo-server.conf"
# pidfile
PIDFILE=/var/run/$NAME.pid
# Additional options that are passed to the Daemon.
DAEMON_OPTS="-c $CONFIGFILE"
[ -x $DAEMON ] || exit 0
[ -f $CONFIGFILE ] || exit 0
checkpid() {
[ -f $PIDFILE ] || return 1
pid=`cat $PIDFILE`
[ -d /proc/$pid ] && return 0
return 1
}
case "${1}" in
start)
echo -n "Starting ${DESC}: "
start-stop-daemon --start --quiet --pidfile ${PIDFILE} \
--chuid ${USER} --background --make-pidfile \
--exec ${DAEMON} -- ${DAEMON_OPTS} --no-database-list
echo "${NAME}."
;;
stop)
echo -n "Stopping ${DESC}: "
start-stop-daemon --stop --quiet --pidfile ${PIDFILE} \
--oknodo
echo "${NAME}."
;;
restart|force-reload)
echo -n "Restarting ${DESC}: "
start-stop-daemon --stop --quiet --pidfile ${PIDFILE} \
--oknodo
sleep 1
start-stop-daemon --start --quiet --pidfile ${PIDFILE} \
--chuid ${USER} --background --make-pidfile \
--exec ${DAEMON} -- ${DAEMON_OPTS} --no-database-list
echo "${NAME}."
;;
*)
N=/etc/init.d/${NAME}
echo "Usage: ${NAME} {start|stop|restart|force-reload}" >&2
exit 1
;;
esac
exit 0

If you find it simlply delete ore deactivate (comment out) that option and your list will show up I

BEFORE: (activated)

start-stop-daemon --start --quiet --pidfile ${PIDFILE} \
--chuid ${USER} --background --make-pidfile \
--exec ${DAEMON} -- ${DAEMON_OPTS} --no-database-list

AFTER: (deactivated)

start-stop-daemon --start --quiet --pidfile ${PIDFILE} \
--chuid ${USER} --background --make-pidfile \
--exec ${DAEMON} -- ${DAEMON_OPTS}

#--no-database-list

finally check your odoo-server.conf - it might be in /etc/odoo-server.conf or /etc/somepath/odoo-server.conf

In our example it is in

/etc/odoo/odoo-server.conf

you can see its path written in the file inside the init.d folder

CONFIGFILE="/etc/odoo/odoo-server.conf"

Have fun with Odoo and its databases

With kind regards,
Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
Con un cordial saludo,
Cordialement,
с сердечным приветом,
