     Thank you, sir! And do we have any idea as to how many transactions local storage will hold? And do we have any idea as to what's typically behind users losing connectivity in the first place?

The numbers were:

150 Stores with 10 cash box average per store.
1 Server replica per store.
4 servers in production

Our algorithm was pretty simple:

Every cash box has its UNIQUE sequence and it was physically blocked by hardware (that sequence can not be used in any other place).
They did something like 3000 tickets per cash box.

That was migrated overnight the process take all night something like 3 or 4 hours with interventio from the operator of 5 minutes.

Everything properly logged.
