Re: Dev Adviceby

Hi, I encountered another aspect which seems really resource dependent:
When I run the instance and attach to the logs in a console window, I see that things slow down between INFO and DEBUG. Obviously displaying logs eats up resources. Can there be identified a culprit such as RAM, CPU or DISK? Docker logs write to a json file on disk, but I'm not sure how to judge on if IO is the bottleneck or rather CPU for the displaying part of it.

Did you try doing as https://github.com/OCA/OCB/blob/9.0/openerp/service/db.py#L44 says, remove line 45 and see what happens?Probably, there should be rather a conditional on: https://github.com/OCA/OCB/blob/9.0/openerp/service/db.py#L93 And then it would be quite straight forward to incorporate as well: https://github.com/OCA/OCB/blob/9.0/openerp/service/db.py#L105-L108I'll have a closer look at this and report back, if it results in a PR to upstream, I would be grateful to receive your upvotes...Thanks!El mar., 14 jun. 2016 a las 13:52, Holger Brunn (<firstname.lastname@example.org>) escribió:On Tuesday, June 14, 2016 18:31:49 David Arnold wrote: > >How do you create your database on odoo terms? > Through the web interface in /web/database/manager -> create aha, then everything else I wrote in my mail is moot.
