Nhomar, I think you are mixing the functionality of the module with the issue told by Jerome. His problem is not with the Google Drive API (although you may be right), but placing a menu in the toolbar for enabling the functionality, and he is saying that the elements in both versions are not referred the same (with the only tag attribute that he can use - class -).
Yes I understand perfectly, what and as I said, the implementation of the **specific** feature overwritting the client side is rwong (what if you set and attachment by webservice?) I am talking specifically about the featre and MVC concept.
As normally happen:
Model: Controller -> Class python inheriting from Models with algorithm to asve cosistently attachments from any model..
The feature itself is incorrect (even if it is anoying the fact that both classes are named different) but this is teh **view** layer and that's clearly an d technically different, if you desing a module that depends of such layer, you cen design for both version (you need to take care of differences) or design server side (no differences in API).
BUT yes in JS the api should be the same, now it looks like a legacy code pending to migrate, I look into master and the classes are named equally (replaced all oe_ by o_), no **dark**conspiracy theory here:
Version community on master.
