Re: Issue with Odoo Serviceby
Still seems to me a OS limitation/setup.
Did you try to set up a ubuntu VM in your Windows server: in general Ubuntu is more stable than windows for Odoo

Thanks Eric for the response. However, I am not using worker option, it's just a Odoo's default setup I have done on windows 2008 R2 .
Did anyone experience this anomaly?? Appreciate help.

Don't know windows OS but could there be a setup to limit the number of workers for an application?
Short term in odoo you might want to test without workers
Dear Community Experts,
We have developed a .net application which we have integrated with Odoo 8.0 using XML RPC services. The Odoo8.0 instance is hosted on Windows 2008 R2 server. Everything is going smooth except that overnight the Odoo service stops responding (but the service still running) and in the log file I can see the below log repeatedly.
2016-04-13 00:34:17,790 1460 ERROR ? openerp.service.server: Exception happened during processing of request from ('192.168.1.120', 2273)Traceback (most recent call last):File "SocketServer.pyc", line 295, in _handle_request_noblockFile "SocketServer.pyc", line 604, in process_requestFile "threading.pyc", line 745, in starterror: can't start new thread
Note that we have this kind of installation elsewhere also but they are not facing any issue as such.
Appreciate your support in this regard.
