Hey Hans,

How would I check this? I've just looked at res.users and res.partners and neither of them have a portal/public field.

Cheers,
Ryan

You can check it if user has a portal/public or not, if portal/public it means it should not have backend access.

Thank You.

Is it possible to determine if the currently logged in user has backend access?

I'm building a website with custom navbar, which needs to be offset slightly to make room for the Odoo backend menubar. Is there a way to do this from within a theme module (preferably using a qweb <t t-if> statement).

Cheers,

Ryan
