Not as far as I know.
We are preparing a new reporting engine based on docx (quite popular format in China) which works in similar way as the previous rml+sxw.
You can edit the docx template with jinja2 script inside and upload the template in odoo.
The engine will generate a PDF out of it interpreting the jinja2.

We are finalizing the cleansing but test and feedback appreciated.
If there is an interest we can push the development to OCA.
