Hi there I have a odoo v9 version running in a docker container. It has plenty of memory (32G). Often times it runs at near 100% CPU. Now i wonder what could make it eat that many cycles.. Is there a way to profile the services it is running? thanks robert

This presentation should have an special section on the technical official doc:

http://es.slideshare.net/openobject/performance2014-35689113

Try to follow soch steps and recomendations.

Tool?

Python Profiling!: Excellent job done, just understand teh concept in order to decorate inside of odoo itself and see after the view which object you need profile.

PgBAdger!: Excellent tool to optimize postgres calls.

Enterprise Licence: Even if I complain a lot about Odoo in some technical decisions, on such services "Detecting Performance Issues" they gave us always a very good services, when all fails They have really good experts.

Problem with all of that? you MUST to know the Scientific method very well, because (at least in our side) never found performance issues easily, always after a lot on iterations on revisions and hypotesis and so on.

I hope it helps you.
