yes i understand where it comes from, but on the other side i can imagine what customers think.. huh?
Its kind of weird you subtract the 20% from one price, but the other not..
So actually the 20% from the public price list should be subtracted from the variant price as well and only display 40.

Hey Arjan,

In this example, the extra feature [product variant] is increased storage capacity at a cost of $50.40 - this option will add the feature cost to the base total (as seen with $750.00 --> $800.40) and the 20% discount is applied to the total. Hopefully this clears up the confusion!

I can imagine that the BASE product is with the 20% discount. but the extra option is unaffected.
