Re: sales order confirmation v9: speed issueby

I my experience, difficult to do better than 1 order per second, but you will probably succeed to import ten of them in parallel without increasing this time.
Hi,Perfs are worst on 7 and 8, in version 9 you don't have all the workflows (that have been removed on SO and PO). One minute for an order of 100 lines is something we also face. The point is that you can process various in parallel if the server is properly dimensioned. I suggest you have a look on the presentation suggested by Dominique made O.Dony.

1 mn for 100 lines is long but not so surprising. The problem is that you need a x10 or x20 improvement because there are only 1440 mn in a day.I guess you already tuned postgresql, updated postgresql version and use multiple workers.Olivier Dony made the best presentation about performance tuning in 2014. Still valid imho. It shows there are not much we can do when the server is properly set up.My understanding is that Odoo is slowly suppressing its workflow engine which sucks in particular for -e-commerce.Nevertheless I know many on this list have delt with performance issues and may share good advices. I stay tuned.2016-01-29 10:42 GMT+01:00 Gaspard Dessy <firstname.lastname@example.org>:
We are deploying on v9 so haven't tested similar case on other version.
The order confirmation (amongst others) does
- Create procurements
- Create stock moves
What takes most of the time is create procurement. On Jan 29, 2016 5:09 PM, "Dominique Chabord" <email@example.com> wrote:Odoo is known to be slow at order validation step. Was is slow also with V7 and V8 or just with V9 ?2016-01-29 9:52 GMT+01:00 Gaspard Dessy <firstname.lastname@example.org>:Hello,On v9 we have performance issue on order confirmation: over 1 min server processing for an order with 100 lines. We have up to 3000 sales order per day (in total 50-200k sales order lines) and worry about server performance.Any trick or experience to share?
