Hi Andy

does it mean you can see the menu items of the backend from one computer and you can't see them when you login from another computer?

- check from different browsers
- check if javascript and/or cookies are enabled/disabled

when have you logged into those sites? on computer 1 and computer 2.
We had a similar problem here that a backendpage of Odoo 9 loaded when you were previously logged into a site and still have access to the same site but when logging in new from another computer to the same site it not even works and you wil get  site where it seems that the css is missing.

Login in to the site from the computer which still has access and deinstalling all custom modules step by step you had installed them but in reverse order helped here.

After deinstalling the (in our case im_chat) module we were able to access the site again also from the computer which previously only showed the site without css and even an Internal Server Error while the login from the other computer to the same site was still working.

It was actually important to NOT logout from Odoo to keep the session which was still working open.

It seems that odoo has no timelimit on those sessions and keeps them open even over days and months until you actually logout.

I would suggest you log into the backend where it is working and try to find the module which might conflict. Check the odoo server for those modules! In all out cases it helped until now.

Be careful by deinstalling modules as soe modules depend on others and than deinstall also those if you ignore the warning - In most cases also the data connected to it will be gone afterwards =-) so better make a backup first of the database and the filestore folder which belongs to that database.

It is like it never does the "loading" interface part.

The computer that doesn't work is running 14.04, totally updated, and 
chrome & firefox act the same way.  Help please :)
