Re: Different home page for each website

He Steve

This is what I have done so far:
Create a new database
Install Website Builder module
To to Website Admin and create a new website with the Name and domain matching the domain name this site will be served from.
Activate developer mode (Top-right menu > About > Activate the developer mode)
Go to Technical > User Interface > Views
Search for "Home"
You should get two records. One record is not linked to a website. The other one is linked to website "0.0.0.0". Duplicate the latter record and link it to your newly created website.

We followed that advice but get stuck.

First it said "localhost" so we created another one called "our.domain.tld"

and than press apply. When we now call the backend than the backend does not show anymore the menu bar on the top!

We than deleted "localhost" and still it does no show correctly.

There seems also to be no way to delete a created URL. So we have set the URL to False and than the backend menu bar showed up again but also the second URL for the second website was gone. ;-(

What you describe for Go to Technical > User Interface > Views we did not see two records and the record we saw did not have 0.0.0.0 at all.

Perhaps you can explain your steps again - Thanks!

There is no need of any Recordrule for this.

Your apply button will apply changes which ever you have done in that configuration view for selected website. In back-end that apply button will call execute method.

This works...partially, i.e. it seems to only work when you are logged in. I found an older comment of Anthony on this list suggesting that additional public users and record rules are needed to make it work completely. I hope someone can post a sample rule. I'm not looking forward to figuring this out using trial-and-error.

Side question: Does anyone know what the "Apply" button on the website configuration does?

Best regards
