Re: Help Odoo Get Visibilityby
I think it's good to promote individually each Odoo App, rather than Odoo itself (as a whole) There are more people looking for a website builder (or CRM, POS, ...) than a full-featured ERP.
It helps us tackle media / people we could not reach with a "corporate ERP".
A good blog post about that:
Even if it's not our core positioning for now on, I really like the bottom-up approach (some employees get Odoo for their own need, usually one app. And we expand the scope later) as opposed to the top-down approach (you sell a full ERP to the decision maker). Even if the first one focus less on the core value of the product, it is better to attract a mass of users. And the success of an open source product depends on the number of users, more than the number of features.

Odoo defined as a website building tool? Isn't that selling Oddo short, very short?Or I may be doing something wrong (which I hope)On 20 December 2015 at 20:57, Fabien Pinckaers <firstname.lastname@example.org> wrote:Hello,Odoo is featured on Producthunt.com right now:Would be great if you can help us get visibility and vote for Odoo.--Fabien
