Re: Odoo verticalization for Communitiesby
I like the concept it make me think about something similar done by a israelian start up... Don't hesitate to share info here ;)
For the first case you'll need to add the shareholders concept as a member is a shareholder.
Hi Wouter,Are you talking about company with a cooperative legal status or just a cooperative project?
we are implementing odoo for a cooperative supermarket in Brussels inspired by park slope food coop. So maybe there a some concepts to reuse from community verticalization i have to check.

Dear Yannick, community, when you first announced the Community Verticalisation it was with great excitement, at least how I felt it. Hopefully you are well, and I saw also very active with Clouder and other things. Regarding the Community Vertical: in various cooperatives this could come in very well. In particular one in which we are setting up a car sharing between community members. The members earn points by sharing their cars. Could you tell us whether this vertical is further developed and maintained at all and if so, where the action takes place? If you or others would have any suggestion about cooperatives and communities sharing cars, that would be very useful as well. We'll need to register cars, check assurances, let members define availability, allow for reservations, hand over their car, register driven kilometers and possible fuel deposits at return. Things like that. I'll have to ask this in other places as well, but the community vertical could be a good starting point, I'd hope ;-) best and thanks for your time, Wouter On 02-11-14 18:37, Yannick Buron wrote: > Dear Odoo community, > > Following the acceptation of the Community verticalization inside the > OCA, I have the pleasure to inform you that the project > (http://odoo-community.org/project/64) and the repository > (https://github.com/OCA/vertical-community) has been created.
