The item is added to a purchase order, not the delivery order. This is standard ERP behavior. The item if drop shipped, is sent from not your warehouse but ordered from the supplier and shipped directly to the customer.

If you set a vendor on the product, you will see the draft PO created, else you will get a nasty procurement exception.

Hi

I'm trying to understand dropshipping. When I create a sales order with a product to be dropshipped I'm supposed to select the route Drop Ship. But if I do that the product is not added to the delivery order when I confirm the sales order. Are there any special confirguration I have to do? I have turned on  Choose MTO, drop shipping,... on sales order lines" in the sales configuration, and
also "Manage dropshipping" in the warehouse config.

Is there any good screencasts on dropshipping? I think there must be something basic I'm missing...
