Do you encoure the error on a standard installation or with custom module installed or in the addons path?

If so try without any installed custom module or removing non standard path in the addons path.

Thanks Koketso, its not that,  i create the database but 1 login cant login, i can see my database on the list(in the drop down) but when i login
i get the error "unable to login on database 'nameofdatabase'

Hi guys just created a db from web client everything successful login screen populates my db but cannot login error unable to login on database 'nameofdatabase'. I need help have spent now three days on it.
