To correct the cost price, there is a tricky solution: adding a new landed cost with negative amount. Would that work in your case?

Hello Eva,

The problem here is that the cost price of the product form and the real price of the inventory will not match in a scenario where landed costs are configured, and this has a direct impact in the pricelists calculation, because those based on your real product cost (including the landed costs) will be always wrong. Has anyone managed to change this behaviour extending the options in pricelists?

Best regards.

Landed cost is to be used with caution. It is only used with real price. The field cost price is then only updated by the last goods issue and does not represent anything like your average stock value.

So, it’s not a bug, it’s a feature, but only, if you need to have the exact price of each product.

You will find the correct price in the quants.

Check my training related to product cost, if you want to really understand product costing

Hi everyone,

When we create a landed cost, it increases cost.

Product $100 (Unit price)
Landed cost $10 (Landed per unit)
Unit Cost is  $110   -------> This works fine

But when we delete the applied landed cost , Unit Cost doesn't roll back to $100. It remains $110
Is this a bug ?
