You can try:

<t t-if="'TestCursor' not in repr(env.cr)">
</t>

to avoid that the elements you're changing alter other tests, but this leaves out your own tests for that change.

I have not managed to work out Phntom JS tests that much but what you are saying makes complete sense.

If one is able to change the logic and structure of a module it should also be able to adapt the tests accordingly so they reflect the new features and circumvent the old

+1 for the idea and if I find a solution I will share it back

Hello.

As you can kno phantom tests are great due to the fact than we can test the behavior on the html elements.

Problem:

If you change too much a template then the phantom test will absolutly fails due to the fact that they ran just after everything is installed then I need a technique to achieve:

1.- Overwrite from a separate module completly some front end test.
2.- Overwrite just few steps (if possible)

All from an external module, I do not like money patch the server removing the test completely (that should be our last resource).

Can somebody help us?.

Regards.
