Hi,

indeed I had not noticed thank you.

I'm not familiar with oerpscenario and don't know his use case.

Is it better to migrate data from ir_model_data to magento_tables using oerpscenario or simple sql scripts (v6.1 to V8) ?

Using oerpscenario or simple sql scripts is as you prefer.

Can you give me some quick guidelines to get started with it ? i've seen the github of project but i didn't understand very well how it works.

oerpscenario is an integration of behave http://pythonhosted.org/behave/ with erppeek http://erppeek.readthedocs.org/en/latest/ to interact with Odoo.
But if it is only to run a few sql scripts, it might be overkill.

And also can you explain what you are doing here in the file  https://gist.github.com/guewen/10095287 (line 71 to 94)

magento_product_product is the new table which contains what we call the 'bindings', the link between the Odoo ID and the Magento ID for a product.
in v6, the binding was stored in the ir_model_data table. The Magento ID was is the 'name' column prefixed by the model name, eg. 'product_product/1234' means the magento ID is 1234. So on these lines, I create one line in magento_product_product for each line ir_model_data which is a Magento 'binding'.

I apologize for these questions if they seem trivial

Thanks,

Hi,

Thanks for your answer Guewen.

In the v6.1 of connector res_partner object does not have magento_id field or equivalent (unless I am mistaken) so i don't have this data to fill the magento_res_partner table magento_id field. How can i handle that ?

Same apply for other models which does not have magento_id field before

Thanks,

The equivalent information was stored in ir_model_data, you can find the examples in the script I shared with you earlier: https://gist.github.com/guewen/10095287
