Version 7 production and 9 development. In fact believe standard install of "leaves" has "Sick Leaves" already setup.
So when you allocate a user "legal leave" their holiday say 20 days. Then they just book in their time under that for holiday. For sick they use "sick leaves", which goes to minus figures... unless the company has a policy of maximum paid sick. Then you could create an allocation for that sick and report if it goes under 0.

We use it. For sickness we created a leave type "sick" then allowed it to override limit I think!

In version 9 enterprise version, Odoo already developed this kind of module, and its like a project planning purpose.
If planning for holiday, actually you can use leave management in Odoo.
Odoo have leave request and allocation request, and it has leaves summary.
I think it will fit your requirement.

I want to ask if someone knows about a module managing time planing for resources(employee or external) of a event service company or service company.
This should manage the planning in or outside the normal working time, holiday and absence(sickness)
