One thing that will always impair greater "consultancy" vs "development" is the consistent lack of comprehensive functional literature.
The effort for 6.0 was great and commendable.
But the rate of change is so significant that urgent matters leave no time (or resources) for important things.

I do not think so inmediatly, but forvary asic cases, it is actually like that.The point is that to know how things are working even to configure you always must read the code (even if you are not a programmer adding features).And other point is that ODoo from version to version @try@ ifferent things which will include again re-learn some things (sometimes for good sometimes not so good).TO compite with SAP directly you need to understand that developments will be ALWAYS required, at least for the must complex workflows.
