Re: struggling with v9 installby
I have had contact with Webfaction HD.Their response was to symlink it to my person bin folder.[josesapelli@web452 ~]$ ln -s ~/webapps/node/bin/lessc /home/josesapelli/bin[josesapelli@web452 ~]$ ^C[josesapelli@web452 ~]$ which lessc~/bin/lessc[josesapelli@web452 ~]$deleted and created a new odoo database, but again.. this didnt work.Isnt there a way to compile all the less manually and then upload it somehow?2015-10-03 12:22 GMT-05:00 Arjan Duijs <firstname.lastname@example.org>:Cheers Roland, does make sense. However webfaction doesnt allow to sudo, so of course i get a permission denied[josesapelli@web452 ~]$ ln -s ~/webapps/node/bin/lessc /usr/binln: creating symbolic link `/usr/bin/lessc': Permission deniedIs there a way to alter odoo search path?2015-10-03 10:32 GMT-05:00 Roland W Porth <email@example.com>:
On my Mac OS (yosemite) installation, I discovered that lessc was installed in /usr/local/bin which evidently is not in the odoo search path.A) verify that lessc is installed:$ which lessc/usr/local/bin/lesscB) If so, link it to /usr/bin:$ sudo ln -s /usr/local/bin/lessc /usr/binworked for me ...—Roland W Porth
