byPresume you have done the usual checks on the database since the upgrade? Can you connect to PostgreSQL manually, using the credentials your installation is using?
Can you post a copy of the log entries?

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there is an error in the application.
My openerp_server_log says database does not exist.
Any help i will appreciate.
