Still trying to get the website module back online after the "accident"
Following error when clicking install the module:
ValueError: "insert or update on table "website" violates foreign key constraint "website_company_id_fkey"
DETAIL:  Key (company_id)=(3) is not present in table "res_company".

Yes, That's possible with other CMS like wordpress out of box, where any "page" is directly associated with site without any prefix, but with Odoo that "page" prefix is there "always" unless you make a custom controller and handle the routing.

PR that I linked had some work around to do that without any coding. Just few module installation and that's it.

Hacking the root (" / " ) path doesn't seems to be a good idea as lot of Odoo stuff is dependent of it and that's the reason they have used static path like "/page" for custom pages.

AFAICU He needs create a /whatever not a custom /.
