Hi,

No one have interest to break the wall from outside to collect data, it is difficult in the year 2015 for all large brand RDBMS, the most easy way is from internal, if data is valuable, the easy way is access via internal.  So, your customer should aware the internal control on who has the right to access data internally, not the database breakpoint or how strong is it on protection.

Thanks!

Raymond

Odoo has security on table level, and on record level. When Odoo eill have security on field level it can be compared to SAP.

You can define a field like this:

fields.Type(groups="list_group_id")

This apply to CRUD rules defined in group ?

Already!
