Re: Odoo 10: MRP, PLM, Qualityby
Just thinking out loud, why would we even talk about yet another version when 9 hasn't even been released? It seems like we are jumping so far ahead that the quality of a major release gets degraded and surely the community of developers gets frustrated to just start having their modules working in v8, which will already be discarded with an incompatible, non open-upgradeable system. There are still problems in v8, instead of jumping a million miles an hour why not focus on 1 version and getting it rock solid first.

Can you tell us a bit more about what are the plans in terms of structure on Odoo 10, please? That will be detailed in the analysis that is still in progress. It will probably a mix of Odoo Community (main MRP features, ...) and Odoo Enterprise (PLM, ...)--FabienI'm asking in this thread because, for instance, this MRP module will be a hot module for some of our customers, but if we are advertising ourselves as Open Source solutions, it will be difficult to keep a straight face and sell them proprietary software. You see our dilemma?
