Actually, I know your apps, and I asked myself before, how you let module like "IFRS" as free, you should market and collect money regarding module like that, that what Odoo did :) :)

Simply.

I play the game accepting some basic rule.

Give first ask before.....

Ando BTW this kind of modules IMHO need work yet, then to "sell" something as a product, I think it should be "ready" not half finished, even if IFRS is almost finished, as you will see in the close future the new Accounting tool in odoo will deprecate such tool (and it is fine it is what we called  evolution).

We offer to our customers an extra enterprise for our >> 500 modules freely availables, and then we include OCA modules support and end user trainings and a lot of more things related to consultancy....

Then until now it is "good" you make money with our module and use it as it is.... but then, the only thing we expect in return is "push in the same direction and with the same strategy and rules" because if not people because of people that do not do that becomes in the real gulties of push people like us to become more and more closed... "Not viceversa".

It means We are not naive because we open everything, people that take closed approches destimating opensource world are the ones that are not naive I need to say a strongest word "stupid", because they are NOT helping the system where they started they are destroying it.

Even odoo's reaction and new market strategy (which I support) is a move which have a lot of relation with such way of thinking, but it is a matter of history and I can extend myself here for hours to talk about that.

And it is a matter of PoV BTW.

Regards.
