I'm very positive to the strategy changes overall, but my concern is about the price point of enterprise on premise. It should somehow be pareto-efficient to move to the new version also for existing customers. Else, they probably won't move:
I think it is a good idea to increase functionality in the enterprise and reduce on community at the same time (if that is the plan at all). However, in order to make existing community-customers move, that have a probably lower total cost of ownership price tag, the reducing part I think should be done very cautiously, to give room for pareto-efficiency.
However, I'm confident that this is being taken care of anyhow. I understand, that not much can be said about this at the moment and I'm unaware what is being communicated on the partner communication channels, but if you have anything you can share to partner aspirants, I'm sure they might be very interested to hear.
