Erwin,

Some time ago I managed to run OpenERP 7 on CentOS but since too much Linux libraries have different names I drop CentOS for Debian server which is almost 100% compatible with Ubuntu server (I guess Odoo deverlopers using Ubuntu).

My recommendation for you is to use Debian Wheezy (orUbuntu server) for Odoo 8.0, especially, if you haven't much experience with Odoo.

Best regards,
Arnis

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

I have installed Python 2.7.10

# python2.7 -V
Python 2.7.10

but i still get the same error,

Please help,

Thank you
