if you are going to use Windows as the platform you will probably need to buy lots of CAL licenses for all the users connecting to it, even if it makes no sense whatsoever

or, just don't use Windows.

I (and probably many who participate in this mailing list) would recommend you use Ubuntu/Linux as the server for hosting Odoo v8 and NOT Windows.  You can be successful with Windows, but you will find greater support with an Ubuntu/Linux solution.

From a licensing standpoint, Odoo is released under the AGPL software so you can have an unlimited amount of users connect to the server. If you budget approves it, you should (but are not required to) purchase an Odoo Enterprise license to obtain support and upgrade services.

From a technical standpoint, Odoo can support 50 concurrent users accessing an Odoo implementation, but the server infrastructure needs to be properly configured to provide adequate performance. I recommend you work with someone who is experienced with the configuration and customization of Odoo (like ITpedia Solutions).

Good luck and I hope you enjoy the great features of Odoo!

Hello,

Thanks for your quick response. So meaning if I'm going to add 50 users, they can connect simultaneously without any problems?

Regards,

Jin
