Add Message to chatter when call status = Doneby

I would like to add an automatic system message to the partner's (or opportunity) chatter when there is a phonecall logged.
In fact there is a message that is added to the phonecall's chatter so maybe I could amend the code that do that to also post it to the partner.
How is the mecanism that control this? I could not find anything under "automated actions" (where I would have thought I would it)
