Dear Martin,

I tried the l10n_be and l10n_ch with the following procedure:

1- install be and ch CoA templates

2- first modify the account chart templates to include en_US in spoken_languages

3- configure the company CoA to install accounts

as the CoA templates depends on the l10n_multilang we expect that all account.account, name entries got generated with at least the src = value in the ir_translation table but this doesn't happen

does anyone get a multi-lang CoA working and how to do ?

What l10n_multilang does is only making the name of account, taxes and
journal templates translatable. With this you can create translation
files for the content of your CoA.
Nothing to do with res_id apparently (probably an issue in another module).

Check l10n_be and l10n_ch for example of multilang chart of accounts.
