That is something with have to accomplish in Venezuelan Localization

We had to add the Document date because accounting date and accounting period
shall be consistent,

We have done this since v5.

Kitti this is part of our Venezuela Localization and was not done as single module,
it is builtin a module name l10n_ve_fiscal_requirements.

Best Regards.

Odoo allows that but with a small difference:
- the posting date is actually the period (used for every accounting report)
- on invoices and payments, you can force a different period than the one
  related to the document date.

Note that in v9, periods are replaced by a date so it's exactly what you ask for.

Dear Community,

We have a requirement that, For Invoice and Payment -> Account Posting Date (journal enteries) can be different from Document Date.

I knew that in some ERP, there are both "Document Date" and "Accounting Date", where accounting date will be used to post accounting.

Are there any addons do the trick?

Many thanks,
