you should install nginx as a reverse proxy. it allows you also to enable https to your odoo instance.

http://www.theopensourcerer.com/2012/03/how-to-openerp-6-1-ubuntu-10-04-lts-nginx-ssl-reverse-proxy/

you'll need to replace the following :
rewrite ^/mobile.*$ https://10.0.0.26/web_mobile/static/src/web_mobile.html permanent;
rewrite ^/webdav(.*)$ https://10.0.0.26/webdav/$1 permanent;
rewrite ^/.*$ https://10.0.0.26/web/webclient/home permanent;

Dear Community,

I remember there is (was) an article talking about setting up domain for Odoo without port after the domain URL. But too bad I can't find it now. Currently my Odoo server is available on mydomain.com:8069. What do I need to do to make it accessible on subdomain without port (mysubdomain.mydomain.com) ?

Best regards,
Togar Parnaehan Hutabarat
