are you on openerp 6.1?? cause guinicorn has been replaced(no more needed then) since version 7.0...

so increase you keepAliveTimeout to 5 if it's a minute uom

I am on a webfaction instance using : mod_wsgi 4.4.11/Python 2.7
this runs a apache webserver.

    KeepAlive Off
    KeepAliveTimeout 2

the wsgi got the following information

#----------------------------------------------------------
# Gunicorn
#----------------------------------------------------------
# Standard OpenERP XML-RPC port is 8069
pidfile = '.gunicorn.pid'
workers = 4
timeout = 30000
max_requests = 2000

could you give the complete configuration of your odoo installation?

if your are using nginx try to add this parameter to your server declaration

keepalive_timeout    360;

Opening the browser with the designated port also results in a timeout.
I double checked the wsgi for the port number:
pidfile = '.gunicorn.pid'
workers = 4
timeout = 30000
max_requests = 2000

even increasing the timout (and restarting the server) didnt help.

Hi,

this module takes some time to install. You have to either increase the
timeout time in your webserver configuration or you have to open odoo
with its port (usually 8069) directly in the browser.

Greetings
Christoph
