Re: The new documentation

I still think that there is a crowd funded option to functional documentation for Odoo.  Here were my ideas of funding levels
  • Early Release (One user license) - Locked *User Branded (Property of Stephen Mack)* PDF version (With the assumption that the documentation will be publicly released after a grace period).
  • Integrator Release (Unlimited License) - Locked *Partner Branded (Compliments of URSA Information Systems)* PDF version that can be used as a marketing tool for Partners and integrators to provide to their customers/clients without cost.
  • Translator Release (Unlimited License) - Unlocked, Unbranded, Word document version that can be used for translation purposes and or more extensive branding, or as a basis to include other chapters on proprietary modules a partner may sell.

Thank you.

What are the plans for functional documentation? – like migrating the v7 Tutorial (https://doc.odoo.com/book/#books-link ) or Ebook content?

Is that coming?  Can we help?

Ray.

We plan to release the designer guide next week. We already sent a version to backers

Hi Fabien,

Is this the beginning of the kickstarter documentation or a subset?  Are the plans to release the kickstarter guide to the public at some point?  Just asking for clarification so that I can update my help forum post.

Hello,

We have just released our new documentation website:
  https://www.odoo.com/documentation/8.0/

In addition to previously existing docs, it also includes the new guide for designers: how to create themes.

Enjoy,

See you next week in louvain-la-neuve,

Fabien
