Hello Nhomar,

I think that it may depends how you are running tests.

I was experiencing this weekend about adding an odoo command that launch tests from the CLI (instead of launching with the odoo with the --test-enable that I don't like very much), that may enable you to lunch the tests that you want instead of launching all tests. I think that this may be modified a little bit to skip some particular tests, that will solve the issue you are facing right now.

As far as I am concern there is no way to skip specific tests with the native odoo implementation.

We in Vauxoo are trying to build all our modules "green" but we are wonder with the fact that some tests on the "ui" are too wired with how odoo thing the website, that's fine, we can not expect Odoo design with 100 variants in mind.

But here is my question.

There is a way to inherit/change from an external module an specific tests?

Let say we change the way Odoo receive images with a module, that's fine, but if we do not change the original test then odoo will always bring red on those tests (it happend to me already).

One solution is change the step on the original module to be a little bit more generic and so on, but it should be cool if I can say something like.

Take the test  id=xxxyyyy and change the sted 12 for {whatever}.

I do not know if it is possible?
