Hi,

Browse to subdirectroy where odoo.exe is located - ex :  c:/program files/odoo8.0/server/.......

Open cmd and go to same place where odoo.exe is located - ex : cd c:/program files/odoo8.0/server/.......

Use the command line above to create an empty module johnmodulename :

odoo.exe scaffold johnmodulename addons

maybe u need to replace addons with openerp/addons (addons path from where odoo.exe is located).

open addons and u will find a new folder "johnmodulename"

Hi all,

I was trying to find someone who may have experience running the odoo.py scaffold command in windows. I cannot seem to invoke the function. I am running it from the correct directory (odoo_install_folder/server).

any help would be greatly appreciated
