Hi Fabien, hi community

I am new to odoo but an old hand with open source.

thas great, and I congratulate you

yes it is bad.
Open source is about to be able to adapt.
So not the fact that the user has to pay a few hundred dollars is bad (he will
have to pay that money whether it is open source or not)
But the fact that it is a vendor lock in cripples his ability to select freely.

You force the community to start to move into a grey zone of not knowing when
coping is "stealing" from your intellectual rights and when it is recreation.

Yes, most partner are probably to small.
For MOST of them this not being able to adapt to their market niche is crippling.

It is not "paid" that is crippling.
There is little free software out their that can be used by a non it
professional for free.
It is the FACTUAL inability to form, to play, to enhance: to CONTRIBUTE
