Re: Odoo Webhooks

Yes, you can create an Automated Action that gets triggered when a model is updated. There's no Webhook action, but you can run a piece of Python code, so you can just put:

import requests
requests.get('http://...')

in the python code field to trigger the Webhook.

Hello,
i'm evaluating Odoo as possible solution for us.
One requirement is that the warehouse is able to send webhooks on certain system events.
Webhook are just URLs that are being called with a certain payload when trigger events happen.
Can an Odoo Module subscribe to system events like when models are updated?
It looks like 'ir.actions.server' might be the way to register those thingsm is that correct?
Best Regards
Jan
