Just so you know, V9 is not fit for use right now, it's on the making, so I would suggest you use V8 for the time being until V9 is formally released.

Now, different versions of Odoo contain differences in the database structure. As an example, data fields that were used in V6 years ago, are now obsolete in V8. And also the other way round, V8 contains more data fields as more functionality have been added to it.

Finally, V6 is a very old version, and I would recommend to update, like Nhomar suggested.

I think you should consider all this before any integration takes place.

I hope this helped,

Dear Nuria,

Thanks for your respond. :)

I mean, is it ok to sharing/integrate/inform database between v9 and v6?
For sample case, if we save a file at windows 8, then when we open that file on windows 2007, that file can not be opened. Because it different version.

I am new using odoo. So many question in my mind to discuss in this milis.

Sorry if my english is not good.

Thank you before.

Best regards,

Hi Neneng,

What do you mean with integrating V9 to V6?

What is it that you are trying to achieve with your supplier?

Many thanks,
