Odoo in redundant servers connected to Magento in two different servers (1 read, 1 write)

Hello everyone.

I am facing the following scenario for a potential customer:

They want to connect Odoo to a Magento online shop, but two times a year, they have a massive peak of work, and internet traffic and everything, having around 1 sale each 15 seconds for 2 or 3 weeks.
For that, the people who installed them Magento, duplicate every system in those periods:
- 2 databases (one read-only, one write-only)
- 2 Magento webs (I think with balancer)

So I would like if someone has some advice on how to set a system that supports this:
- Have two Odoo instances ate the same time, one just in case the other fails, and how to switch from the first to the second in case of failure.
- How to make Odoo Magento connector read from one Magento instance and write to another.

Any advice would be appreciated.
