Hi Luke,

We've made an attempt and hit a bump:

It appears that aeroo_docs depends on aeroolib. That appears to be needed in both Python 2 and 3, but the setup.py isn't compatible with 3.

Any thoughts?

Much appreciated,
Nuria

Hi Nuria,

I've managed to get Aeroo working in 8.0 on Ubuntu 14.04. I'd recommend checking out the following link for an installation method:

I'll be turning this into a script soon, however in the meantime feel free to comment on the forum post if you run into any issues with getting it working.

Hi all,

We were looking for a reporting tool to edit / create reports, and we
came across with Aeroo, but we hit the wall because the python library
for talking to OpenOffice seems to be too old to work with the newer
versions.

Does anyone know of a newer version of that library, or of an
alternative Report Writer we could use?

Many thanks in advance,
Nuria
